Monday, July 24, 2006 Cars Continued The car drama continues. The day after I got a flat tire in the rain and Pep Boys proved its incompetence, I went to my car in the morning only to discover that someone had broken in. This person ripped apart the dashboard in order to get at the CD player—which, frustrations aside, is somewhat amusing in an objective sense, because it’s not that great of a CD player to begin with (it’s a 1993 Toyota Corolla, what do you expect?). He also stole a case full of my favorite CDs—again, somewhat amusing because if he actually looks inside he’ll only recognize perhaps half of the artists, seeing that they’re primarily indies—which I’m surprised he even saw since it was buried under a newspaper. So my CD collection is down by a third and I can’t listen to music in the car—and I need to spend some time trying to fix the dashboard, which is in sorry shape. ^ Top | 10:14 PM | | |
