A woman in Germany had a pencil removed from her head after 55 years of being bothered by headaches. She fell on the pencil at the age of four and it's been lodged inside her head ever since. In India, police fed a thief chicken and rice hoping he would defecate the gold necklace he'd swallowed. They first fed him 40 bananas, a trick that had worked with a thief who swallowed an ornament a few months before.
